Camping near Yakima*
25May11
We needed a campsite close enough to Tri-Cities for a decent round trip back to SnoCo. This state park* was it.
The park really wasn’t bad, although it was far from secluded. We were disappointed that the Yakima River was too flooded to fish, but we found a fishing hole down the road at Sarg Hubbard Park.
The eats were good and my new REI sleeping bag kept me snug as a bug in a rug, and I even got to take myself on a little nature walk at 8:30 a.m. just outside Yakima.
Cool, huh?
