Link of the day
The Vacaville Reporter had a really cute Christmas story today on A1, about how local law enforcement are ignoring a certain portly man who could be arrested for many crimes, among them, animal cruelty and rooftop parking violations.
You should read it.

1. When the public gets pissed at you, meet with them face to face. Be professional and explain — but don’t ‘justify.’ The best tips I’ve ever heard were from Butch Ward’s guide to difficult conversations at MSCNE, as follows:
Assess the situation. Beforehand, decide if your goal is to save or end the relationship. Stick [...]

Résumé updating
Working to redo my résumé tonight as I start to look for post-Evergreen employment. This new version is rough and unproofed, but let me know what you think. Here’s what I’m building on.
The main additions: my World internship, multimedia and being EIC. I purposely left off an objective.
I’d love (non-meanypants) suggestions.
